Remain Faithful: A Call to Stay the Course

In every season of life, there are moments when distractions try to pull us away from what matters most. Responsibilities increase, pressures grow, and the noise of the world becomes louder. Yet in the middle of it all, the call of Christ remains the same: stay faithful, stay committed, and stay close to Him.

At Brownwood Church, Pastor Cynthia Collins-Jackson is encouraging the body of Christ to remember that following Jesus is not simply something we do occasionally. It is a lifestyle.
A lifestyle of prayer.A lifestyle of obedience.A lifestyle of devotion.
Scripture reminds us in Hebrews 10:23:
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.” (KJV)
Faithfulness is not measured by perfect days. It is measured by continuing to return to God, even when life becomes busy, complicated, or overwhelming. The enemy often works through distraction. Sometimes it is not something sinful or obvious, but simply things that slowly pull our focus away from Christ.
But God is calling His people back to intentional living.
To wake up and seek Him.To pray even when you feel tired. To open the Word even when life feels rushed. To remain connected to the body of Christ.
Pastor Thia reminds us that the Christian life is not about momentary excitement but about consistent devotion. A life surrendered to Christ produces peace, strength, and spiritual clarity that the world cannot offer.
If you have felt distracted or spiritually distant, this is not a message of guilt. It is an invitation.
Come back to the altar.Come back to the presence of God.Come back to the lifestyle that brings life.
Let this be a season where the body of Christ chooses faithfulness over distraction, devotion over convenience, and commitment over compromise.
Stay the course.Stay anchored in Christ. And watch what God will do.
We invite you to join us at Brownwood Church — a place where faith grows, lives are transformed, and miracles still happen.
